Camp Counselor Job Description: The East Coast Language Camp is now accepting applications for the position of camp counselor for its language camp running July and August 2007. Located in the beautiful Annapolis Basin Valley, this exciting position provides camp counselors the opportunity to work with youth ages 9-17 from all over the globe, running afternoon and evening social activities throughout the region which would complement morning classes taught by English language instructors. This two month live-in position offers a salary as well as meals and accommodation. Qualifications for Counselors: Individuals must be over 18 years of age, with a background in recreation and experience working with children and young adults. Individuals should be creative, open-minded and fun. Experience working in a camp setting and experience abroad would be an asset. Individuals must receive a criminal record check and hold or acquire a first aid CPR certificate.
