| Delivery Specialist PART TIME DELIVERY SPECIALIST (Up to 20 hours per week): Looking for a fresh start? ASSOCIATE BENEFITS: • Family-Friendly Retail Hours –Early Evenings & Sundays off! • Fun work environment • Competitive Wages • Employee Purchase Plan & Employee Loan Program POSITION OVERVIEW: • Provide excellent customer service through the delivery, pickup, and set-up of furniture, appliances, electronics and other home furnishings • Contribute to sales activities by distributing flyers, recommending additional products to customers, and generating sales leads • Refurbish and restore returned products; merchandise showroom and backroom • Maintain company vehicles and store facilities to standard SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Valid provincial driver’s license without restrictions • 5 years driving experience; 2 years experience with a graduated provincial license • A clean driver's abstract for the last 2 years • Thorough knowledge and understanding of safe driving procedures and traffic laws • Attentive and calm, with lots of patience • Able to concentrate and constantly aware of surroundings • Understands the importance of completing a daily vehicle checklist • Diligent in ensuring the vehicle is adequately maintained per standards • Physically able to frequently lift/move products weighing 50lbs • Strong navigational skills; ability to read maps and follow directions • Time management and organizational skills to schedule local and regional deliveries • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail We thank all applicants for their interest; however, we will only be contacting those which possess the skills and qualifications as outlined above. | |
