| Airport Station Manager Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is a leading independent Ground Handling Service Company looking for a Station Manager for our Halifax / Stanfield International Airport location. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in all facets of airport ground handling. The Station Manager plans, directs and coordinates, through subordinate personnel, all activities contracted by our airline customers. The station contracts services for Passenger handling, Ramp Service, Aircraft De-icing, Cargo handling and provides GSE maintenance for seven different airline customers. 100% compliance with Company policies and Labour Canada regulations; must have strong planning and organizational skills; and excellent oral and written communication skills. Upholds and implements procedures to insure a safe and sound service delivery. Additionally the Station Manager reviews and analyses expenditures, financial and operational reports to determine requirements for increasing profit. Approves requisitions for supplies, manpower, and material with limits of the station budget. Directs investigations, resolves complaints, measure service delivery, coaches and administers discipline when required. May be called upon to negotiate collective bargaining discussions, make presentations, and lead business opportunities. | |
