ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - RESTAURANTS/BARS/RETAIL

We are presently seeking full-time Account Executives to present solutions to the following markets:

• Hospitality (Restaurants, Hotels)
• Bars / Pubs
• Night Clubs
• Retail
• Bowling Alleys / Activity Centers
• Health & Fitness Centers


Summary of Functions:

• To generate and follow up on sales leads in territory.
• To attend at Customer Locations in the assigned territory to provide product demonstrations, support, and training.
• To represent the Company at events in assigned territory to maximize sales and product awareness.
• To generate orders for the Company’s products and services.

Major Duties And Responsibilities:

• Following up on leads generated by marketing activities; calling or visiting potential customers to discuss needs and to provide product demonstrations. Developing referrals and making contact with potential customers in assigned territory.
• Writing sales orders by assisting customers with ordering information and configurations; providing quotations on customer requirements and appropriate follow up. Following up with customers regularly to verify customer satisfaction and resolve any concerns.
• Distributing marketing literature and point-of-sale displays; answering any questions and obtaining any further information necessary from customers. Providing product training for dealer sales staff and customers.
• Electronically forwarding orders sold promptly to Customer Service for processing. Forwarding copies of applicable backup documentation to Head Office.
• Attending and working seminars, local meetings of customer associations and other applicable groups, dealer open houses and trade shows for the company in the assigned territory.
• Reviewing any questions or concerns with Supervisor. Discussing any unique product configurations/problems with Customer Service or Production as necessary. Providing customer feedback through supervisor on content quality and availability.
• Following up with customers after receipt of their order; ensuring that order has been properly fulfilled; verifying customer satisfaction and resolving any concerns.
• Submitting reports to Supervisor, especially activity/call reports for assigned territory. Providing briefings on sales activities, problems, etc., to Supervisor as required. Performing any other appropriately related duty as required.


Remuneration
Commission.

Employee Requirements
Home Office with High Speed Internet Connection
Dependable vehicle.

Qualifications/Skills

Successful candidates will possess:


• A Proven, successful sales experience with a minimum of 2 years selling B2B.
• A Demonstration of “hunger for the sale”, including initiative and self motivation.
• A strong capacity to identify client needs and to apply solutions and services as appropriate.
• The ability to interact effectively and to understand and balance client and company needs.
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
• Demonstrated computer skills.
• The ability to be a strong team player.


The following skills, while not essential, would be helpful to the candidates who possess them:


• Experience in a target customer industry, including hospitality or retail
• An understanding of computer and/or audio and video system connection and operation.
